This is a statewide annual tournament for teams registered as Division III. To be eligible for ASA Governor’s Cup play, a team must be comprised of properly registered and rostered youth players and the team and its affiliated organization be good standing with ASA. The team must be registered as a Division III (Recreation) team or have the approval of the Tournament Committee.

In 2007, AYSA received an award for the Governors Cup tournament in Decatur for being the largest recreational tournament in the State of Alabama. The article was published in the Alabama Calendar of Events magazine for 2008. CLICK HERE

Valid 2009-2010 USYSA coaches passes also laminated with a picture and signature for each rostered coach (ONLY FOUR CARDED ADULTS ARE ALLOWED ON THE SIDELINES WHETHER IT IS MANAGERS/COACHES)
Medical Release form for each player on roster - DOES NOT HAVE TO BE NOTARIZED
