“I am honored to be named the Executive Director of Alabama Soccer,” said Condone. “I enjoyed my time at Tennessee, and now look forward to working with the ASA Board of Directors, staff, and membership, in creating a standard of excellence for all levels of play.”
Condone is an instructor for the National C, D, E, Youth Module, and TOPS Soccer Courses. He also serves as a National Staff Instructor for the US Youth Soccer National Youth License. He has served as a staff member, for both Region II and the Region III Olympic Development Program. He also has been a member of the Region III Coach of the Year Committee, and United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) Task Force Committee.
Condone has been a Head Coach at Spring Hill College, Rutgers University-Newark, and Tennessee Wesleyan College, where he was the 2001 NAIA Men’s Region XII Coach of the Year. Additionally, he has been the conference chairperson for the Appalachian Athletic Conference, Gulf Coast Athletic Conference, and served as the Tournament Chairperson for the East Coast Athletic Conference.
Along with receiving his USSF A License, USSF National Youth License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, NSCAA National Youth Diploma, and NSCAA Director of Coaching Diploma, Condone has most recently co-authored a book, ‘Developing a Model Soccer Club: Understanding and Implementing Best Practices for Club Wellness.’ He also has been a presenter at the US Youth Soccer Workshops, Leadership Middle Tennessee, and various state associations and clubs.
Condone holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History/Political Science from Monmouth University (1995) and a Master’s Degree in the Liberal Arts from Spring Hill College (2000).
